Ambulatory Care Unit at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital
Ambulatory care, also known as outpatient care, encompasses a range of medical services provided to patients that do not require overnight or extended stays within a medical facility. This can include services such as chemotherapy, IV Infusions, blood transfusions, and more.
Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital hosts a fully staffed Ambulatory Care Department performing more than 2,000 procedures annually. Our nursing team is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Chemotherapy, EEG trained, and PICC line insertion. Our nurses provide expert care with compassion and respect in a friendly, cheerful, and energetic environment.
We are most excited about the expansion of Infusion Suites in the new building expansion project. Read more about the expansion HERE. You can also listen to two of our patients sharing their chemotherapy infusion experiences. (Connie’s Story/Anne’s Story)
Our wreath will be displayed in the hospital atrium during the Festival of Trees.
Our Wreath also includes a $100 gift card donated by Meijer.

The care that was provided by The nurses (Cindy, Felicia Ruth) and staff was exceptional. The entire staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. We received a call from Felicia the next day to check on my husband to check his pain level and do a follow up. The surgery area from check in to check out was well organized, clean, and up to date. Thank you to all of you for what you do so well and everything beyond your normal duties.
