Many different types of injuries will involve some level of post-incident wound care. These can include incidents like burning, surgery, persistent ulcers, edema, and traumatic wounds. Each wound requires its own unique level of care and attention to ensure it is healing in the best possible way.

Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital specializes in all forms of wound care management. Our dedicated team of highly qualified nurses, therapists and doctors are experts in ensuring wounds are clean, sterile, and being properly looked after.

Although we will make every effort to treat those in need, a provider referral may be required to receive care from the Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital Wound Care Clinic. The office has been relocated to the Specialty Clinic at the main hospital.

Our Wound Care Clinic is also pleased to provide outpatient wound care options to those living in the surrounding area.

READ BIO

Jessica Rochefort is a Manistique High School graduate of 2003 and started her career at SMH in 2007 as a CNA. She graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree Simmons College. Prior to obtaining her Nurse Practitioner certification, she worked in the Emergency Department, Medical/ Surgical Department, Diabetic Education, and as an Instructor of Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
