Physical therapy is an effective manual therapy that involves a series of stretches, exercises, and movements designed to improve muscle control and functionality. This can be especially important following major reconstructive surgery, and can help patients improve recovery times and regain their independence.
Speech language pathology is a healthcare profession that focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. Speech language pathologists are trained to work with all populations, including infants, children, teens, adults, and seniors.
Inpatient services are provided to individuals who require hospitalization due to illness, injury, or surgery. Inpatient speech language pathologists work with patients who have communication and swallowing disorders related to their medical conditions. They collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and help patients recover their communication and swallowing abilities.
Outpatient services are provided to individuals who do not require hospitalization and can receive treatment on an outpatient basis. They provide individualized treatment plans and work with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes using the best evidence-based practices
Occupational therapy is the only profession that helps people across the lifespan to do the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of daily activities. Occupational therapy practitioners enable people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health, and prevent—or live better with—injury, illness, or disability. Occupational Therapy promotes independence and safety within a person’s physical capabilities.
Aquatic therapy differs from land therapy due to the specific properties of water. These unique properties decrease joint compression forces, may reduce inflammation and provide feedback for improving posture. For those patients who may have difficulty exercising on land, aquatic therapy provides a comfortable and therapeutic medium in which to gain strength and endurance. Aquatic rehabilitation provides opportunities for movement the patient may otherwise be unable to perform. It allows for efficient training of multiple systems during a single session.

The care that was provided by The nurses (Cindy, Felicia Ruth) and staff was exceptional. The entire staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. We received a call from Felicia the next day to check on my husband to check his pain level and do a follow up. The surgery area from check in to check out was well organized, clean, and up to date. Thank you to all of you for what you do so well and everything beyond your normal duties.
