Kimberly Hampton is an accomplished leader, educator, and advocate whose career reflects a strong commitment to service, governance, and community advancement. She holds three master’s degrees in Business Administration, Education, and Psychology, as well as a PhD in Psychology, demonstrating a rare blend of expertise across leadership, human development, and organizational systems.

Dr. Hampton is a Psychology Professor for graduate-level courses at the University of the Cumberlands, as well as a subject matter expert in curriculum development at Colorado Technical University, where she helps prepare future professionals through advanced instruction, mentorship, and applied learning in the field of psychology. Her work in higher education reflects her dedication to empowering others through knowledge and professional development.

As a published researcher, Dr. Hampton’s study on Maternal Fetal Attachment in At-Risk Pregnant Women contributes to the understanding of maternal wellness, emotional connection, and supportive interventions for vulnerable populations. Her academic background and research experience continue to inform her practical work in policy, leadership, and community development.

Nationally, Dr. Hampton participates in capacity building initiatives for Native American tribes throughout the United States, providing guidance in governance development, organizational sustainability, strategic planning, and community-centered solutions. Her work is rooted in strengthening tribal sovereignty, supporting long-term growth, and helping Native nations build strong and resilient futures.

She also serves in national advocacy and advisory roles, including sitting on the National Institutes of Health Tribal Advisory Council and being a member of the National Congress of American Indians. Through these roles, she contributes to conversations and policy efforts that advance the health, rights, and priorities of Tribal Nations across the country.

Through scholarship, leadership, and advocacy, Kimberly Hampton continues to make a meaningful impact locally and nationally, combining education, compassion, and vision to create opportunities for future generations.
