Upon discharge from the military, I attended Northern Michigan University where I graduated with my BSN (RN). Immediately following graduation, I began working as an RN at Marquette General Hospital. At MGH, I began my career working on Med/Surg and cross-trained to the ICU. Several years later I became the Manager/Director of Outpatient Services (PACU, OP Surgery, ARE/PAT, Endoscopy). During my last year at MGH and first year at UGL, I attended Walden University in which I achieved my MHA.
I have been married for 20 years and we have two beautiful children. Our kids have begun playing Manistique sports and we have begun to enjoy our transition here.
