Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital takes pride in its leadership role as the healthcare provider for its county and surrounding area. Our staff strive on a daily basis to do their part in continuing to deliver the very best in exceptional quality healthcare.

In 2012, SMH provided $361,000 in charity care and $891,000 in uncollectible debts. Additionally SMH delivered medical care to Medicaid patients in the amount of $1,721,501.00 under its costs to provide the care.

SMH continues to be a leader in providing Community Health Care Education, in the amount of $14,000 and upwards of $63,000 for Community Based Health Screenings such as blood pressure, skin cancer, and the very popular sports physicals to our youth.

SMH also granted in excess of $6,000 in direct community donations to various events and organizations.

The care that was provided by The nurses (Cindy, Felicia Ruth) and staff was exceptional. The entire staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. We received a call from Felicia the next day to check on my husband to check his pain level and do a follow up. The surgery area from check in to check out was well organized, clean, and up to date. Thank you to all of you for what you do so well and everything beyond your normal duties.
