However, sometimes you or your child gets sick suddenly and your family practitioner does not have any availability on that day. In times like these, Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital is proud to offer the services at RediCare Clinic . This state of the art facility is ready to accept any patient who needs medical attention today for general ailments. Both Manistique and Naubinway Rural Health Clinics offer same day appointments. We encourage patients to call ahead, instead of walking in to avoid lengthier wait times.
What Is RediCare?
RediCare is Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital’s walk in clinic, offering medical attention to patients who need it, when they need it. RediCare is designed to be the safety net option for Manistique residents who need to see a practitioner but their regular family practitioner is unavailable. RediCare offers full appointment services as well as walk-in availability, so you can have peace of mind knowing you will always have a medical professional ready to assist. Located within our Rural Health Clinic, RediCare has a team of highly experienced practitioners and nurses on hand to help you and your family feel better. Individuals who walk in, will be given a same day appointment. We encourage individuals to call ahead to avoid unexpected wait times.
What Services Do We Offer?
RediCare is designed to meet all the same general medical needs of your family practitioner. While not intended to replace your family doctor, our RediCare clinic in Manistique is intended to give you more options when it comes to medical care for you and your loved ones. We offer a range of treatments and services for several common conditions, including:
- Common cold and flu
- Fever and aches
- Rashes
- Migraines
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
- Ear aches
- Sore throats
- Minor sprains and cuts
Our medical team will be able to assist with all of the above issues and more. For anything more serious, our team will refer you to our Emergency Department or recommend a referral to a specialist if required.
When Can You Visit The RediCare Clinic?
The RediCare clinic in Manistique provides patients with more flexibility and options when it comes to their health care. Patients are encouraged to call ahead to book an appointment.
Our hours of operation are:
Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

The care that was provided by The nurses (Cindy, Felicia Ruth) and staff was exceptional. The entire staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. We received a call from Felicia the next day to check on my husband to check his pain level and do a follow up. The surgery area from check in to check out was well organized, clean, and up to date. Thank you to all of you for what you do so well and everything beyond your normal duties.
