Dr. Bomber grew up in Pellston, Michigan and graduated high school there. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Florida and his D.O. degree from Des Moines University. He completed his residency in family practice at the Toledo Hospital. Dr. Bomber previously had a practice in Engadine Michigan at the West Mackinac Health Clinic. He has also served as State Medical Director for Corizon Health that contracts with the Michigan Department of Corrections in providing healthcare for our prison inmate population. He has been a part-time resident of Naubinway since 2003 and full-time since 2008. Dr. Bomber has been very active in volunteering in numerous activities at the Engadine Consolidated Schools, Rexton and Naubinway Christian Fellowship Churches and the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club.
His hobbies include sailing, music (guitar, vocal and mandolin), fishing, hiking, snow-shoeing and creating log furniture from U.P. native Cedar for friends and family. Dr. Bomber’s wife Jomay is a music teacher at Engadine Consolidated Schools and Worship Director for the Naubinway and Rexton Christian Fellowship Churches. They have three children, oldest daughter Lorhel who is JAG Officer in the United States Coast Guard; daughter Sarah who is a singer-musician-performer for Belinda King Productions U.K. and son Jeff, a second year law-student at Penn-State Dickenson.
