Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital has eased visitor restrictions to allow for one visitor per patient stay or visit. To help control the spread of respiratory illnesses such as COVID-19 and to protect our patients, their loved ones and our staff, we are asking our patients to adhere to these restrictions.
Visitor Restrictions apply to the Emergency Room, Medical-Surgical In-Patients, Ambulatory Care (outpatient & infusion services), Wound Care, Rehabilitation Services the Manistique Rural Health Clinics. Families are encouraged to limit the number of companions that attend medical appointments when possible in the clinic setting.
There will be screening questions at both public entry points (Rural Health Clinic & Emergency Department). If you have symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath, we ask that you stay home if symptoms are mild. If you have symptoms you will not be permitted to visit or accompany patients.
