Robert Mach joined Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital as Chief Executive Officer in August 2025. He brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit settings, with a strong focus on operational excellence, patient-centered care, and team development.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Robert began his healthcare career as a radiologic technologist before advancing into hospital-based radiology management and senior administration roles. His previous leadership positions include:

Chief Operating Officer at Littleton Regional Healthcare in Littleton, New Hampshire
CEO at Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan
CEO for Ascension Borgess Allegan Hospital and Borgess Pipp Hospital in Allegan County, Michigan
CEO at Arbor Health in East Lewis County, Morton, Washington

Robert holds a Master of Business Administration and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He has also served as the New Hampshire Regent for ACHE. Known for his servant leadership style and ability to build strong teams, Robert is committed to fostering a compassionate, patient-first culture where every individual is treated like family.

Originally from Holly, Michigan, Robert is proud to return to his home state to lead Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital during a transformative time in healthcare.
