Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital Partners with Phreesia to Improve Check In Experience

January 25, 2024

Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital has partnered with Phreesia to streamline patient access. The trial phase includes the Rural Health Clinic with the hope of including other outpatient departments in the near future. Our new check in process will be called SMH PRECHECK.

We plan to introduce this new technology April 23rd, 2024. This new technology allows our patients to check in online prior to their appointment and pay for their copays in advance. Patients will be able to confirm appointments via text message or email and check in prior to their visits.  Patients can check-in from any smartphone, tablet or computer or from the privacy of their own home. Registering from a personal device saves time and ensures information is always up to date.

Important Features of SMH PRECHECK:

  • Detailed Appointment Reminders (Text & Email)
  • Improved Check In Process
  • Electronic Forms and Consents
  • Insurance Eligibility Checker
  • Pre-collection of Copays
  • ***Self Scheduling for RediCare Appointments Coming Soon***
