906-341-3200 Sports Physicals Result in Donation to Green Fire Booster Club
September 2, 2013Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital Rural Health Clinic (RHC) performed 136 sports physical examinations on local youth who must undergo the physical check prior to participating in competitive sports at school. An annual event, the RHC historically has provided these physicals free of charge.
However, this year a twist was added! SMH charged each student five dollars for their physical raising $680.00 and adding a $320.00 gift for a total of $1,000 to be donated to the Green Fire Booster Club.
The check was presented to Green Fire Booster Club Treasurer, Kathy Chase, by RHC Family Physician, Dr. William Phillips.
