On Saturday, August 2, SMH held its first annual Walk for Wellness. The Walk had 25 volunteers and 40 participants. The fund-raiser raised over $1,800 after expenses. The funds will be used to purchase glucometer strips, offer diabetic education grants, and to provide education for cardiac rehab.
