September 24, 2014

On Saturday, August 2, SMH held its first annual Walk for Wellness. The Walk had 25 volunteers and 40 participants. The fund-raiser raised over $1,800 after expenses. The funds will be used to purchase glucometer strips, offer diabetic education grants, and to provide education for cardiac rehab.

Beautiful turnout, beautiful weather and beautiful people! Thank you Schoolcraft community for making our first annual Walk for Wellness a success! From the Mayor cutting the ribbon, Congressman Dan Benishek‘s aid Jennifers speach, Tanya Hoar CEO Schoolcraft Memorial Hospitals words of support, Dr. Olli walking five miles to show his support, Rapid Response EMS, CERT Team, MRC, and so many many more amazing people to make an amazing event! Pictures to come! Thank you!!!!
