Congratulations to Donna Swayer who received the first ever Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital Staff Matter Here – Employee of the Year Award at a special SMH ceremony January 30.
The award was created to recognize staff who go above and beyond their regular job duties, who take initiative and demonstrate extraordinary patient care and or internal customer service.
Donna was recognized for these reasons in addition to demonstrating an exemplary work performance. Staff gathered in the Lighthouse Cafe for the surprise announcement.
The winner of the award is kept secret until the ceremony. Staff celebrated with a cake made special for the occasion. Donna is approaching 25 years of service this year and is a member of the Dietary Department.
