Family Nurse Practitioner

Dana Vix graduated with an LPN from Northern Michigan University and RN from Bay College and obtained her Master’s in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. During her nursing career, she worked in many different areas of nursing, including Employee Health and Infection Control, Quality, Utilization Review, and Nursing Supervisor. She was a travel nurse for 4 years and worked in many different departments, including med/surg, oncology, ICU, and emergency department and step-down units. Dana treats patients of all ages, but her passion is Women’s health, nutrition, and weight loss management.

Dana was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula and resides in Curtis. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family in her free time. Dana is an avid outdoorswoman, and a beekeeper. She hunts many species of big game animals worldwide and loves to travel.

He rapidly assessed the situation and made the treatment recommendations which I have followed.He demonstrates empathy, a profound command of the knowledge needed to treat my issues. He does not practice medicine by a book, he analyzes and assesses and then addresses the issue.He is thorough and effective. It's a refreshing change from what I'm used to.
